2014 Emmys: ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, ‘Ray Donovan,’ ‘Mindy Project’ stars to present
The 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards have just officially wrapped up their list of presenters, and based on the list that we have below, it looks to be a pretty eclectic crew of people. There are many familiar faces in here, and not all of it is even just pandering to the fact that the show is airing on NBC this year. Seriously, we do hate it when networks go in that direction.
Anyhow, take a look at the list of presenters below.
- Uzo Aduba – Still most likely riding high, given that she won Guest Actress in a Comedy Series this year for “Orange is the New Black.”
- Scott Bakula – Coming on board CBS this fall for “NCIS: New Orleans.”
- Ricky Gervais – “Derek” star, Emmy nominee, and classic awards-show troll who will likely talk again about how Louis CK is probably going to beat him.
- Chris Hardwick – Host of “@midnight,” “Talking Dead,” something related to “Doctor Who,” and a thousand other things.
- Lena Headey – Emmy nominee this year for “Game of Thrones”
- Katherine Heigl – Star of the upcoming series “State of Affairs,” and one of the few cases of NBC pandering.
- Mindy Kaling – Star of “The Mindy Project,” and still beloved by NBC thanks to “The Office.”
- Joe Morton – Emmy winner for Guest Actor in a Drama Series (“Scandal”).
- John Mulaney – Former “Saturday Night Live” writer, and star of the self-titled “Mulaney” coming to Fox.
- Hayden Panettiere – Star of “Nashville” over on ABC.
- Liev Schreiber – Star of the Showtime series “Ray Donovan.”
- Kate Walsh – Star of the NBC show “Bad Judge,” and a little bit of pandering here.
- Allison Williams – Qualified thanks to “Girls,” but will also be on NBC later this year for their “Peter Pan” production.
The 2014 Emmys will of course are Monday night, and we’ve got all sorts of coverage right now! You can see our most-recent podcast on the subject of possible winners here, or sign up to get some scoop on everything we cover at CarterMatt via our official newsletter.
