‘The Bridge’ season 2, episode 8 video: Marco, Sonya at odds; but why?
On next week’s new episode of “The Bridge,” things could start to become a little more testy between Marco Ruiz and Sonya Cross, and for a pretty good reason. These two work extensively in a business that is really dependent upon trust, and when someone does something to break that off a little bit, you are going to start to question them.
Of course, Marco has not been honest about almost anything so far. He has closer ties to Fausto Galvan than what many realize, and he also has been conducting his little revenge plots on David Tate on the side. So when Sonya starts to find out information, what will she want to do with it? He claims that he is making moves in an effort to keep both himself and her safe, but we can certainly imagine that she is not going to agree on that very much.
Also in this episode, be prepared for some other major developments. Eleanor may start to think a little more independently (which cannot be good news for some people), and we will also find out further insight into what comes next for Sonya and Hank after she realized that he was not the perfect cop that she long thought that he was over the course of her entire life. This episode is entitled “Goliath,” and we remain at the moment very interested in who this giant is meant to be. Is it an individual man like Galvan, or just an entire operation that may be taken down?
