NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 7: See Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, fun in new trailer
“The Voice” just unveiled their latest season 7 trailer, and if there is one thing that we can say about it right now, it is that the show is not changing its stripes even though there are new coaches in Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani.
In the preview video below, it appears that the two already have some strategies for how they are going to handle the competition. For example, Gwen is going to really cite her experience, and a career that has spanned multiple decades at this point. Meanwhile, Pharrell can really accentuate being one of the hot producers / artists of the moment. We already know that Adam Levine will do his typical sort of salesman gig, while you can firmly expect Blake Shelton to be the same old sweet-talker / troll to the other coaches that he always is.
If there is one thing that we are really worried about right now, it is the simple fact that the preview already showed Pharrell as basically saying the same thing over and over again to many people. If a trailer makes him seem repetitive, we’re still waiting to see what he is like on the actual show. We’re just a little concerned for the time being since he’s always been sort of a low-key guy.
At the end of the day, though, what will keep you watching here is the talent … and you better hope that there are some big names in here. After all, only two of these winners in Danielle Bradbery and Cassadee Pope have made an impact at all since winning the show.
