ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: The title for Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion’s big premiere
For some reason, we’ve had to wait this long to find out the title for the “Castle” season 7 premiere. What’s the good news? We know about it now, and it does seem to be very much appropriate: “Driven.”
This news was first reported by TVLine, and it is fitting for a variety of different reasons. For one, it’s an obvious car pun given that Beckett is looking for Castle after the car explosion during last season’s finale. Also, it’s another sign of how determined Stana Katic’s character is going to be in order to get her almost-husband back. We like to picture her in our head as the female version of Liam Neeson in “Taken.”
As for a few other assorted details from the episode, the site also reports that there is going to be a time jump happening at some point during the story … but there’s no word on when. Our guess is that it’ll come after there are some answers about Castle, since we would be incredible surprised to learn that the guy ends up disappearing for a few months without being found.
After this episode airs, we know that the mystery of whatever happened to Nathan Fillion’s author / sleuth will continue … in some unknown way. The only real details that have come out about the second episode of the season is that a toy company founder will be the murder victim, and a variety of people close to them will be on the hit list. After that, it seems like the show will continue taking on cases that are close to its roots.
