‘Mad Men’ season 7: John Slattery lands big post-show gig
John Slattery, like the rest of the cast of “Mad Men,” is getting ready for a pretty long, tough goodbye. We are getting closer to the final season of the show airing next year, and finding out just what the end of Roger Sterlin’s journey will be.
For the time being, though, we’re at least going to have to settle for finding out what Slattery’s next TV gig is going to be. Marvel confirms that the actor will be one of the many cast members on “Ant-Man,” the much anticipated movie being directed by Peyton Reed. Production started on Monday in San Francisco, and this is definitely a movie that has many excited.
With all of this being said, good luck trying to find out many more details about who Slattery is going to play or anything else, for that matter. This show is notoriously secretive when it comes to their storylines, and even who some of their cast members are going to be. After all, they are well aware of the fact that these people could end up being on either other movies, or even star in something down the road.
If nothing else, we can at least rejoice for now John continuing to get great work. We would assume that he will probably do some films for a while after all of the time he spent on the AMC show, but we do hope he comes back to TV at some point.
