‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Derrick finds some puppet strings for Frankie

With each passing day, it quickly becomes more and more apparent that Derrick is going to win “Big Brother 16” … and also that he probably deserves it based on strategy alone.

If you look at the players left, you’ve got Cody, Victoria, and Frankie who all seem to be interested in sitting at the end with him, and then you also have Christine and Caleb, who have no plans to get rid of him yet. The only people he has to watch out for are Donny and Zach, and the latter is likely to be backdoored this week.

It’s mostly just amazing to us based on conversations between Derrick and Frankie how blind the later is to what the former is doing. He gets Frankie wound up, and then proceeds to allow him to say some pretty crazy things, including how he wants to slowly “euthanize” Zach in the game, how he wants to “bathe in blood,” and some other general things using violent imagery. What is weird about all of this is how they are acting like this move is so personal; if it was only strategic, the negative backlash probably would not be what it is.

What we’re interested to see the rest of the day is if Frankie actually tells Zach what is the supposed plan; in what is one of Derrick’s more brilliant plays, he wants to try to make sure that there is a chaperone present if there is a Zankie conversation. He makes it look like protection, but it is really to ensure that Frankie is in line.

As for another development that could be interesting, we’ll have to see if Donny actually approaches Zach with some of the information that he’s learned. We have a hard time thinking that this could change anything, but it’d at least give Zach an opportunity to campaign.
