‘Teen Wolf’ season 4, episode 9 video: Is Derek worried about death?

As a result of what happened with Allison Argent on “Teen Wolf” last season, the show has built up quite a bit of stock in the “we can kill people at almost any time” department. Sure, this was mostly because Crystal Reed wanted to leave the show, but there is zero reason to think that this sort of crazy moment could never happen again.

So what do we have now? Basically, another new sneak peek below from Monday’s episode that makes it clear that we could end up seeing none other than Derek in danger thanks to a listing for his name, coupled of course with whatever Kate Argent has been able to do to him. This is not a good combination of circumstances! Basically, it appears very likely that there are some hard times ahead for the character as his powers start to weaken, and the fear of death starts to spread.

The one thing that currently gives us hope is that the idea of killing Derek so soon after Allison died seems to be almost a bridge too far for this show, which does want to at least keep a few notable cast members around who have been there since the beginning. With no more Reed and Colton Haynes, a good third of the group from the first season is already gone. We don’t need to make it half.

With this being said, we would not be shocked if there was a character to lose their life before the end of the season. We just cannot imagine Derek being in the crosshairs.
