‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Joss, Scott, and the new-car debate

Are you ready for a controversial debate? Well, then you do not have to look any further than the preview video below for Monday night’s “Mistresses.” In this, you basically have an opportunity to see what happens when Joss starts to feel panicked in her relationship with Scott, even though the two have only been engaged a tiny amount of time.

Basically, the issue here goes as follows: Joss received a gift from her fiance in the form of a Tesla, which is an extremely expensive, generous thing for her to give to her. So what’s the problem? This one gift single-handedly tilts the balance of power in a pretty enormous way, given that it makes her feel like he is going to be able to hang this very thing over her head for a really long time, while she worked hard to get her car and establish herself as independent now.

Yes, we do understand very much that this is a total #FirstWorldProblem situation that we are looking at right now, given that these are two characters who can most likely find a number of other important things to discuss … but a relationship issue is still an issue. If this is something that could fester and become a much larger problem in the future, then it is only right that Joss introduce it into the discussion now. It’s better, after all, that she open up and explain her issues right now over letting them slowly spread and fester, to the point where they become bigger issues later.
