‘White Collar’ season 6: See Matt Bomer take part in ALS ice bucket challenge
“White Collar” season 6 (and the series as a whole) may be over, but why not take a minute right now and enjoy the latest video from a sensation that is sweeping the nation: The ALS ice bucket challenge.
The great thing about this challenge is that it quickly raises awareness for ALS (otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease) in a way that is easy to do, and easy to spread on social media. Completing the challenge and then encouraging others to do the same is an easy way to keep the movement going. We know that donations have already spiked exponentially versus this time in 2013 thanks to this, and celebrities like Matt Bomer and many others are to thank for it.
We especially like Bomer’s video compared to many others just because of the sheer fun factor on it. It looks like he’s somewhere on the beach on the West Coast with his sons, who all take part in dumping multiple buckets of ice on his head. The man has taken on many foes as Neal Caffrey, but still somehow feels the pain of the ice like nobody’s business.
The charity that Bomer specifically mentions in the video is Project ALS, which you can visit and donate to at the link here. Since there are so many people right now taking part in this challenge at a rapid pace, we imagine that we are going to have many more articles about this very thing at some point in the near future. Stay tuned!
