‘Chicago PD’ season 2 spoilers: Take a look at the intense first promo now!

Starting up on Wednesday, September 24 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, you better prepare yourself for some further action. This is when the new season of “Chicago PD” premieres, and there will be a whole chorus of action that unloads on NBC.

If you are new to the show for some reason, then the first thing that you really should be familiar with right now is that this is not your ordinary police drama. Instead, it is just as much about the characters and the politics as it is some of the cases.

So moving into the new season, some of the subjects that are understandably going to be tackled heavily include whether or not new partnerships will surface, if promotions will be questioned, and also what the bleed-over will be from “Chicago Fire.” After all, there is a devastating event that will take place in the season 3 premiere of that show, and these two have a deeper connection than most spin-offs do. After all, you have Lindsay here still in a relationship with Severide there, and he is one of the characters you should be worried about for the time being.

In the end, though, you can watch this show independently and still get roped into the stories. Out advice is to just dive in, get to know the characters, and then get engrossed in the story. Also, be prepared for a few surprises. While there may not be the same life-or-death situation awaiting these characters going into the premiere, that could still happen down the road.
