TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 spoilers: What happens when Bobby, Ann?
When “Dallas” returns to TNT later this month to finish up season 3, it is officially fair to say that these characters at South Fork Ranch are going to have quite a bit to do if they want to actually be getting along (let alone in good physical shape) by the time that the story wraps up.
For a little while not, much has been said about what’s happening with Pamela, and the aftereffects that are going to come with her overdose. But what about the story ahead for Bobby? Well, there is going to be some other significant trouble ahead there. According to TV Guide, Bobby is going to find out within the summer premiere that there was an intimate moment (in the form of a kiss) between Ann and Harris, and he’s going to be none too pleased. After all, she kissed an ex! We already want to draw parallels here between this and what happened with Mike and Rachel on “Suits” earlier this season, but we do at the same time realize that they are different shows, and different conclusions can be drawn from all of this.
Given that there are only a small handful of episodes left for “Dallas” this summer, you have to believe that there will be some crazy things coming up. That is probably only accentuated further by the fact that the season 3 finale could end up being the end of the entire season, given that the ratings are not wonderful and TNT has been having a good summer elsewhere.
What do you want to see on “Dallas” season 3 from all of the characters on the show? Let us know right now with a comment!

I am a HUGE Dallas fan who was THRILLED to see the series some back. That said, yes, I do want to see a season 4. But I also see the show hurting given Larry Hagman’s death. Cidre is doing a good job keeping JR in the mix even after his death. If the show ends, of course I would be disappointed, but would also accept and understand it. The key to keeping the show going perhaps is making Bobby, not John Ross or Christopher, the central figure. Or maybe having it be a mini series moving forward? The point is that even on cable, its very competitive. Getting these 3 seasons are indeed a true gift I thank TNT and Cidre for. Hoping for a season 4, but perhaps giving everyone a great sendoff and doing an occasional mini series would not be so bad either. Lets see what happens.

Dallas TNT FOREVER & A DAY! Ratings down, HOGWASH! Its only the 1st episode. Dallas TNT is very popular to us fans & we will never quit! Listen up: Keep this show as a summer show, bring back some of the original characters with great plots & do what it takes to get Victoria Principal back!! Even if a “Guest Star” for a few episodes & make these episodes on all seasons. You got it! Dallas TNT fan forever!

Hi. I watched Dallas when it first aired back in 1978- 1991. It was a great show then and still is but when they said they were bringing it back and it was to be about the old and the new generation it was good to see the old stars and what happened to them. I would like to see more of the new ones; for example what happened to Jenna and Bobby son, This is about the Ewings and powder, it’s good with John Ross,Christopher, Bobby and the rest.

No news is good news, so DALLAS still has life. You have to think that the new leadership at TNT has met with Cidre about the show, and in a very recent interview with EW, Cidre was discussing her plans for season 4. There was no “if” “maybe” “if we’re lucky enough”, she sounded confident, so that tells me that the communication between TNT and Cidre is good regarding a season 4. I now think it will happen. TNT wants to draw younger viewers…most people don’t realize it, but DALLAS is TNT’s greatest asset for young viewers, very steady, and the it’s by far TNTs most popular show via social media (young people), so I think some things need to change and it needs to get better, but I think TNT sees a future for the show, at least for now.

The writers have such a precarious job of trying to satisfy long-time viewers of the old show and lure in new viewers with this version….I don’t envy them. I think too much focus on new characters is an issue at times, being heavy on Anne/Emma/Harris/Judith – even though I like them all….and the Elena character, to me, needs to go……
As for the season finale this year that *might* propel a Season 4 – I’d vote for the following:
– Woman floating in the pool dead who could be Elena, Emma, or Heather…..
– Who shot Christopher or Who Shot John Ross
– Christopher goes to a mansion in a nearby city and rings the doorbell and his mother, Pamela (played ONLY by Victoria Principal) opens the door – not so dead after all.
Without J.R. around the show is suffering….he was the antagonist that you loved to hate….and kept tuning in for (at least with the old show)….it’s such a shame that Larry Hagman had to pass away during season 2….there’s so much more that could have been done with his character to mine the history of the old show…..they’ve introduced additional/supporting characters I really don’t care about (Nicolas, Elena, Drew, Hunter McKay) and not made former characters visible enough (Gary, Ray, Jenna)
