‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Who could suffer a major injury while filming?

While “The Bachelor” franchise is known for a variety of different exits, usually they are not due to someone suffering some form of injury during the process of filming. (Note here that we are not counting Ryan Putz among one of the injured.)

So on next week’s new episode of “Bachelor in Paradise,” it is notable that there will be a contestant who hurts themselves badly enough that they may have to consider leaving. Who is it? You don’t have to wait around to find out, given that the official synopsis from ABC basically gives everything away:

“Elise is elated when she receives a date card and Chris B. agrees to accompany her on a romantic overnight stay at the luxurious Hacienda Puerta Campeche. Before they leave, however, the excited bachelor sustains a debilitating injury that could put their date and his time in paradise in jeopardy.”

The thing that will make us really laugh is if Elise is somehow “elated” beyond words when she gets a date with Chris, given that she felt the same way mere minutes after spending time with Dylan. How many times can this woman be elated? It’s also not often that there is a “romantic overnight night stay” that happens on the show at this point … but this is not “The Bachelor.” They are not going to make you wait for the fantasy suites.

As for whether or not these two have a legitimate future outside of the show, we’re doubtful … mostly because most relationships from this show fail.
