‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Devious Maids’ actor snags recurring role
Want to know who the latest guest star is for “The Originals” season 2? Well, this time around it’s a man whose experience comes more from the land of Lifetime.
Per a new report from TVLine, former “Devious Maids” actor Colin Woodell has signed on to play a werewolf named Aiden who is described with one word and one word only: “Badass.” Well, that probably means that he will be trying to kill stuff.
Okay … so there actually is some more insight into this character beyond that. Aiden will be a lieutenant in one of the top werewolf packs in New Orleans, he will do whatever he can to keep his loved ones safe from vampires, and that may include working to team up with some of the local witches. His stint on the show will officially start a few weeks in with episode 4.
We’re always thrilled to see some more menacing characters coming aboard the series, and this is one of them that could pose a serious threat to Klaus and company. Just think about what you want to see in a villain for a minute. Not only do you want someone extremely capable of causing damage, but will also be smart enough to know that they will need a little help to topple the powers-that-be. This guy has all of that, and we’re mostly interested at this point in seeing if he can properly execute everything that he wants to on the show.
The season premiere of “The Originals” is Monday, October 6, so be on the lookout for more news.
