‘The X Factor’ USA: Alex & Sierra have fun at Teen Choice Awards

It’s always nice to see some “X Factor” alumni represented at the Teen Choice Awards, and on this particular weekend, we saw Alex & Sierra represent during the red carpet pre-show!

So what did the two parties talk about? Mostly a fun little mix of subjects, including their excitement to be there, seeing Abby Lee Miller from “Dance Moms” (who apparently really liked Alex’s shirt), and also what we can expect from their upcoming album “It’s About Us.”

When asked what the disc can be compared to, frequent food fan Alex Kinsey quickly said “rocky road.” Sierra Deaton, meanwhile, added that there is a “little mix of everything” … and we are not talking about fellow “X Factor” winners Little Mix.

This new album will be out in stores a little later this fall, and we’ve already written extensively about both it and some new music that the duo are steadily releasing from it. We’re happy to see that the pair is still getting some opportunities to promote their music, and we really hope that this will eventually lead to seeing them on the British version of “The X Factor” at some point in the future. After all, the two parties were mentored by Simon Cowell, and due to the American show being canceled, they are not going to be getting that opportunity like other past winners have. Maybe Fox will be nice and give them a spot on “American Idol,” as well.

Anyway, the Teen Choice Awards will officially premiere on Fox starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, so be on the lookout for some more scoop all about that throughout the night!
