‘The Flash’ spoilers: See Grant Gustin discuss costume, tattoos, more

We continue to find it pretty funny that Grant Gustin, who of course is the title character on “The Flash,” is such an enormous fan of Superman. He has tattoo of the character, and he also wore a Superman t-shirt all around San Diego Comic-Con recently.

So is he going to get a matching tattoo for his new alter ego? Based on what Gustin says in the official video from The CW below, it’s happening … eventually. There are some other important things that of course need to be attended to right now, which probably include filming the show up in Vancouver.

There are also some other funny subjects that are touched on in this brief clip, including Gustin discussing how since the pilot, around ten pounds or so has been removed from his famous costume, which is in turn now a whole lot more comfortable to wear than it was previously. This does in the end make some sense, given that this is a character show is supposed to be super-fast and all.

The only sad thing about this clip is that Gustin’s co-stars Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) and Candice Patton (Iris West) don’t really have anything to do here. Eventually, though, this will change. These two do play very important characters in the Barry Allen story, but they are obviously characters casual fans may not be that familiar with, despite Panabaker’s brief “Arrow” appearance in the spring to help you to get to know some of the characters in advance.
