‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Who joins Marquel Martin, Michelle Money this week?

Part of the “mystery” around “Bachelor in Paradise,” in addition to who is going to establish a romantic connection as a part of the show, is also who is going to actually arrive to Mexico in the first place. For every contestant or two that leaves, another contestant or two arrives. This renders the promotional photo for the cast almost entirely useless, since not everyone is going to stick around for long.

Yesterday, we told you about the arrival of a certain Chris Bukowski, otherwise known as the he-who-shall-not-be-named of this franchise thanks to the million or so ways that he has associated with it since the very beginning. Today, we’ve got another interesting name to throw at you from Monday’s episode: Zack Kalter.

Wait, who? We understand if this is your response to this, given that we barely remember him, either. He was a book publisher during Desiree Hartsock’s season who seemed nice enough, but was eliminated a few episodes in. The only reason we can think of him being here is that the show envisions him as someone who was a nice guy deserving of finding someone who just went home before he had a real chance. There are a few of these on the show this year; this is probably also why Lacy Faddoul was brought in, even if she only had an episode behind her. Why else cast people who are virtually nobodies?

As for whether or not this works out for him, we’re a little nervous given that the obvious attraction for the women would most likely be memorable guys. If you’re on this show, you probably want airtime. After all, there are dozens of other places to find love, and it’s not like there is prize money in the end.
