‘Under the Dome’ season 2, episode 7 video: The latest Barbie – Big Jim face-off

At this point, saying that Barbie and Big Jim are squaring off in the next “Under the Dome” episode is hardly much of a headline. This is instead something that feels like it happens almost every episode at this point. These are two characters who haven’t shown much fondness for each other, and that is not going to be changing anytime soon.

As for what the major push behind this particular scene is, think along the lines of constant tension over the tunnel. Mike Vogel’s character wanted to ensure that he had all of the proper supplies really needed to make the journey down into the tunnel and see what lied within; meanwhile, Dean Norris’ character is really not too interested in having any information kept from him.

So what is Barbie going to discover down there? Saying “quite a bit” would ultimately be an understatement. The contents of this tunnel could in many ways be game-changing for this character, as it starts to open up his world to possibilities and scenarios that he was really not thinking very much of beforehand. These characters all thought that certain characters in their lives were gone, and that it may be impossible to ever leave Chester’s Mill. These ideas may start to be rocked a little bit, though we’re not saying whether or not they will actually come to fruition.
