‘The X Factor’ UK: Madonna, Rihanna, and more on a crazy ‘wish list’

Every now and then, we like to jump on one of the latest tabloid rumors in regards to “The X Factor,” and really for just one very-simple reason: They are hilarious! We have no real idea who comes up with some of this stuff the vast majority of the time.

The biggest headline for the time being is just the claims, per multiple tabloids, that Madonna could somehow be performing on the show, and that Rihanna, U2, and Adele are also on the list of people they would like … big surprise there.

The funny thing about this story is that of course these people are on a wishlist. They are on everyone’s wishlist across pretty much every singing show in the entire world. It’s probably possible that they will get some of them, but for the simple reason that there is no better venue for artists out there right now in Britain than this one. “The X Factor” is watched by a huge percentage of the population in the country that it can probably draw even a higher caliber of star than any talent show in America. This only increases now with this show being broadcast in the United States for the first time on AXS TV. Things are really starting to get international!

Personally, though, we’re fine with the show having back former contestants as guests, or people with some judging experience. We’d love more Gary Barlow, and despite all of her legal woes of late, we’re not opposed to Tulisa coming back at some point. Cheryl Cole will almost surely be performing at some point, given her status as a judge.
