‘True Blood’ season 7, episode 8 spoilers: More on Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer’s future
With tomorrow being the air date for the next “True Blood” episode, we’re back with another edition of Deathwatch! Given that there are only three installments left now, you gotta think that some more bodies are hitting the ground at some point. Just remember that the episode airing tomorrow is called “Almost Home,” and that in itself sounds pretty darn ominous.
As we did last week, this article is all about ranking the most-likely contenders to die among the major characters on the show. We’re not including anyone other than those related to the story; this may seem rather morbid, but it fits given that we’re talking about a pretty morbid show.
5. Eric Northman – Now that he has Sarah Newlin, there is no real reason for him to die … and given that we’ve spent almost a full year wondering if Alexander Skarsgard’s character was going to be written off, maybe he will actually get through this!
4. Sarah Newlin – Don’t be shocked if the cure is synthesized and she is killed off. Even though she is vampire salvation in human form at this point, she’s still far too much of a loose cannon.
3. Jason Stackhouse – The problem with Jason right now is that there are so many different ways he could die, in between the H-Vamps, his job, Violet, or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is the only person whose death could truly devastate Sookie further. She may love Bill, but she sees that coming.
2. Bill Compton – While it’s possible that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer’s characters do go off into the sunset together, we would not be shocked if he didn’t get the cure in time, and his purpose for this final season was teaching Sookie to embrace the now more than ever.
1. Violet – This one seems obvious. She’s trying to murder Wade and Adilyn while getting revenge over Jason and Jessica sleeping together. She’ll be gone by the series finale’s end credits.
