‘Big Brother 16’ exclusive: Jocasta Odom on Frankie, Christine, and family
Jocasta Odom was the first person sent to the jury on the “Big Brother 16” double-eviction Thursday night, and her exit was the one that was the most surprising to many. Up until 24 hours before the show, the plan was for her to stay in a unanimous vote.
We spoke with Jocasta via email today to get her thoughts now on some of the other players, what she would do if she gets back in the game, and also her general feelings about her eviction. Since she is still a part of the game, we can’t fill her in about anything other than what she knows already.
CarterMatt – How are you feeling now that you’ve had some time to reflect on your time in the house? Are you sad over being evicted?
I am happy with the first game I played. I will be ecstatic with the second! And of course I am sad. Nobody wants to be evicted inside or outside of BIG BROTHER, eviction is not good!
What was the hardest part for you about being away from your family?
Me not being able to talk to my kids.
If you were Head of Household this past week rather than Nicole, who would you have nominated and why?
I would have nominated Frankie and Christine. Frankie because he is socially good and competitively awesome. Christine because she is fake. She is a great actress.
If you get back in the house somehow, is there anything that you would do differently with your game?
Yes. I would play the game that I’ve always had intentions of playing when I told myself ‘I am going to be on that show someday!’ You will just have to wait and see.

The one thing that we personally hope for is that Jocasta can go in there and really bring that personality that she did in the Diary Room and with Julie Chen last night. These moments help us to understand why she was cast on the show.
If you missed it earlier, our other exclusive with Hayden Voss is at the link here. You can also get some further updates on the show in the sidebar! The next “Big Brother” airs on CBS or Global (if you are in Canada) Sunday night.
