‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: The big mystery for Jennifer Love Hewitt
It was only yesterday that we first got a glimpse of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character of Kate Callahan on “Criminal Minds,” and now we’re starting to learn a little bit more about what she is bringing to the table … and what she is hiding.
Namely, TV Guide reports that by the end of the season premiere, there is going to be a mystery revealed when it comes to the Kate character. Don’t worry, though; this is not something that they are going to make you wait for answers on forever. For evidence of that, just take a look at what showrunner Erica Messer had to say to the website:
“The few things that are sort mysterious in the beginning [about her] will be answered pretty quickly on in the season.”
To us, that’s great news. It means that if there are lingering mysteries or major enemies, they won’t come from within her own camp. We always prefer that for new characters, given that the last thing we want is for so much attention for a new character on the show. Whenever that happens, it ends up throwing off the balance of everything, and creating a situation that nobody really likes.
The new season of “Criminal Minds” will premiere in early October, as the final Wednesday in September will be crammed with a 90-minute premiere for “Survivor” and also the finale for “Big Brother.” There is no major cliffhanger that needs to be right addressed, and with that in mind, the show will spend most of the time focusing on a new cast and introducing Hewitt’s character.

I thought tonight’s episode was great and loved Jennifer Love Hewitt in it..she is a perfect fit. I am wondering when the runner at the end getting kidnapped will fit in and who the little girl is. Can’t wait to find out

The more I hear about Messer’s ideas regarding the new character, the less I want to hear. This woman has a thing for female super spies type, and she had tried to bend every single female character into that truly overused tv cliche. For what I read Messer didn’t want a new character, but for me that is irrelevant. It may be JHL or Meryl Streep, and she will write an annoying Mary Sue again. I wish someone at the CBS could finally get a grip of this show and find a good showrunner that understand that this tv show was not about undercover agents, action sequences, poor dialogues, muscle men and female agents running in heels. But, apparently, that is not going to happen.

So much for me ever watching this show again. Do not like her and with every CBS show they ruined it. Maybe she should go talk to herself as a real ghost. Even CBS radio stations suck.
