Bonus Quick Hits: Hillary Clinton on ‘The Colbert Report,’ Grace Helbig news; Ramon Singer drama
What is this, two TV Quick Hits in one day? It’s a little unorthodox, but there are so many headlines happening right now that there’s a separate article waiting to be had today.
Stephen Colbert’s “surprise” guest – Hillary Clinton made an appearance on “The Colbert Report” last night, and in addition to doing some more book promotion, she also worked the audience into a frenzy (which in turn made the Colbert character very jealous).
Hillary has really come out of this publicity tour she’s been on doing almost everything she wanted. She managed to grab headlines, sell books, and not have to spend much time talking about politics. As everyone knows, she would be a leading Presidential candidate should she decide to run.
Ramona Singer vs. Andy Cohen – This is a very different, but very funny, confrontation of sorts between Ramona and Andy on “The Real Housewives of New York City” reunion. He questions her relationship and rumors about her husband’s affair, and then she tries to pry on his own personal life. His reply? That he’ll talk more about it if he’s ever the star on a reality show. Hilarious.
Also, who wants to take bets on whether or not Ramona will be a part of the show next season?
Grace Helbig lands E! show – You may have seen Grace Helbig on either “@midnight” or her very-popular YouTube channel. Now, Deadline reports that she has scored a new comedy/talk show pilot over at the network. This show be another bit of evidence that networks are looking more at internet talent these days, and we definitely get it with Helbig. What we’re curious about is whether or not there will be a correlation between internet subscribers and TV viewers. The data so far on that has been all over the place, but we’re hopeful since she’s got some very funny stuff in her catalog.
