‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 spoilers: ‘Six Feet Under’ alum scores big role
We’ve been excited about “Sons of Anarchy” casting news many times in the past, but occasionally you get so excited that you just want to exclaim. This is one of those said times.
According to a new report now coming in from TVLine, Mathew St. Patrick from “Six Feet Under” has signed on to appear in multiple episodes as Moses, a character who runs some sort of security team on the streets. Mathew’s role as Keith on the HBO drama is probably one of our favorite roles on any HBO show ever, and we have no idea why this guy hasn’t been picked up for more series regular work since. Just having him on this show makes us wish that Michael C. Hall would join him in some capacity.
St. Patrick does join a fantastic guest cast for this season that includes Annabeth Gish, Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, and most surprisingly “Glee” star Lea Michele. Somehow, Kurt Sutter has an impeccable ability to weave guest players in so that they all have the moments necessary to shine on their own, but also in a way that still support the people whose stories are in the forefront.
The beginning of Jax Teller’s final chapter (at least on TV) begins on Tuesday, September 9 on FX, and given that St. Patrick’s first appearance will come in episode 7, there is still room and time for some other guest stars to eventually be announced here before we reach the finale. It would not shock us at all if there was a particularly big one at some point near the end of the series’ run.
What do you think about the casting now, and are you somehow even more excited about this show than you were before? Share below, and head over to the link here if you do want to get some further news now on all we cover via our newsletter.
