‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Callie, Mariana, and ‘Leaky Faucets’

Tonight on “The Fosters,” we had the return of Girls United, and an update thanks to that on what is going on with some of the characters there. Also, we had Rosie O’Donnell come back as a guest star!

In the end, the story ended up carrying just as many surprises as you would have expected, and that has us more pumped than ever as we start to near the home stretch. The next episode carries with it the title of “Leaky Faucets,” and the synopsis below gives you some specific details of what to expect:

“The Foster kids attend a Mexican street festival, but the fun day takes a turn when emotions flare up. With help from Wyatt, Callie works to overcome her recent bout of panic attacks by learning to trust her instincts, but an encounter with someone from the past threatens to violently derail her progress. Mat surprises Mariana with a date at the festival and is confused when Mariana seems offended. Jesus tries to impress Hayley but she wants him to prove he’s with her for more than just sex. 

“Meanwhile, Mike and Ana make plans to right past wrongs.”

You can almost certainly expect some huge events taking place here when it comes to relationships … and not just romantic ones. You have to remember at this point that the show wants to set the stage well for a big summer finale, and the best way to do that is to not cram every single trick up your sleeve into a single hour.
