‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: Something nasty this way comes

Let’s face it: There are few other crime shows on TV that like to routinely freak you out like “Criminal Minds” does. There are obvious killers and monsters portrayed on the show all the time, but for this story, we’re talking specifically about something that feels appropriate almost for a “Fear Factor” repeat.

In a post on Twitter, the show’s production house revealed some very creepy crawlers who will most-likely be appearing in an upcoming episode. (After all, who in their right mind would want these critters around for the heck of it?) Specifically, we’re talking about some pretty enormous insects … and also at least one tarantula. Basically this is ultimate nightmare fuel for some of us who are afraid of the creatures, and this could be the one episode that keeps us up at night longer than most.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to say much more about these creatures other than that they will be playing a part on the show, which has already in some ways had a busy start to production. After all, you are bringing on board a new cast member in Jennifer Love Hewitt, and anytime that you are welcoming someone new to the cast, there is going to be some adjustment that comes with that. The former “Ghost Whisperer” star is a new series regular, and she will help to get the show going almost right away. While there was no cliffhanger at the end of season 9 to get anxious about, we really don’t need one in this case.
