‘Falling Skies’ season 4, episode 7: Look ahead by looking back

This is something that does further shape almost the entire of the whole series, since it gives you a greater sense of such things as destiny, purpose, and what else can be done to protect all of humankind.

Now, we move into the home stretch for this season, which in turn gets us closer to the home stretch for the entire series. There’s not going to be a whole lot of of time left in season 5 to establish new threads and push forward new mythology. At that point, the focus is going to be more on just trying to tie together the story in the best way possible, and giving a satisfying ending. What we’ve learned time and time again from many other science fiction / fantasy shows that are out there is that this is an extremely hard thing to accomplish.
