‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: When Teresa Giudice, Amber Marchese’s husbands meet

Do you want to see an exercise in awkward television? Then you really do not have to look any further than the sneak-peek video below for Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” episode.

Basically, the subject matter of this preview is the meeting between Joe Giudice and Jim Marchese, which let’s just say goes rather awkwardly. This is probably a pretty good reflection on what Joe is dealing with a good majority of the time right now, where he is being judged largely for what is being reported and also charges that are being leveled against him. Jim does not want to spend much time with him, feeling like this will in turn hurt his own reputation. Basically, he seems to be operating under a “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” sort of mentality.

Do we think that Jim will eventually come around to a certain extent? That’s ultimately hard to say, since it depends on how much time he spends around Joe. The one thing that we would say for the time being, though, is that if you appear on a show like this, you better expect to spend time with the other cast members. It’s going to be unavoidable that we see Jim and Joe together again, and he is either going to have to be cordial, or run the risk of being involved in a potentially-angry confrontation. That’s definitely not something you want to deal with, especially given everything that we saw with Joe last season on the show.
