‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: See Clare Crawley’s introduction now

Remember Clare Crawley? While the public didn’t seem to be that sure of her throughout most of Juan Pablo Galavis’ time as “The Bachelor,” she did quickly earn the approval of most of America the moment that she told him off at the final rose ceremony. That was one of many black marks on Juan Pablo’s resume by the time we got to the end of the season, and she made it clear that it was most certainly “not okay” with her.

Now, Clare is one of the many contestants who is looking for a second shot at love on “Bachelor in Paradise,” which premieres on ABC Monday night. While we do find it somewhat strange that this franchise continually makes it look hard for people to date in real life, we understand why Clare was cast. She’s recent, memorable thanks to her Juan Pablo blowup, and we at least learned from that she is able to give into this experience in hopes of finding someone.

As for whether or not this experience will work for her (or anyone, for that matter), that remains to be seen. This show is a little awkward in many ways, given that it’s not like everyone is coming into it with no idea of who everyone else is. These contestants often meet one another at various events, and have also heard about each other through the grapevine. (Yes, that does still exist.)

At least there is potential to continually meet new people as time goes on in this show. One of the interesting twists here is that every week, there will be new arrivals to paradise as others leave. Therefore, there are always opportunities for relationships to grow and blossom.
