‘True Blood’ season 7, episode 7 spoilers: Alexander Skarsgard and new motives
On Sunday night’s “True Blood” episode, the game is officially going to be changing … and it’s all thanks to a big Sarah Newlin reveal. In having the cure for Hep-V within her veins, she has basically gone from being the most-wanted person in America to being the most-valuable person in America. She can save everyone from this disease, if she so chooses.
Of course, hearing this little bit of information creates a massive problem for a certain Eric Northman, at least in that his plan before now was to kill her and celebrate that as his dying wish come true.
Now, that game has to change. In the sneak peek video below, you can see Alexander Skarsgard’s character react to Pam’s suggestion that they now change the entire scope of what they are trying to do. The obvious problem with this quick swap in the “plan” department is most that Eric seemed almost set on dying at this point, and we’re not sure if he will suddenly turn around and decide that he is okay with doing something a little bit different.
Still, we love the twist that is here, mostly because it gives us the potential for hope and survival without a guarantee of anything. We would be much more disappointed with this in the event that it guaranteed everyone would live. That threat is still there. At least now we know that there is a way that this series can end other than all the vampires eventually getting sick … if Sarah is found, at least.
