‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8: Kaley Cuoco’s Twitter disappears; no cast contract update
Are we sure that there are going to be many articles speculating on the whereabouts of Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting’s Twitter account out there in the next few weeks? We’re sure that there will be, and we understand most of them.
If the timing here were any different, we don’t think that this would be anywhere near the deal is right now. In the end, thought, the added gossip is all a byproduct of the fact that the cast of “The Big Bang Theory” is still waiting to resolve a contract dispute. Before getting rid of her account, she did say that she was looking forward to seeing her cast members soon (a good sign).
We’re not going to sit here and presume to know anything about the situation with Kaley’s Twitter, but we imagine that this has to be a weird situation for her. She and the other cast members deserve the raise they are asking for, even if $1 million an episode or close to it is a ton of money. Some may call it greedy, but if they are a reason for the show’s global success, they deserve the accordingly large slice of the pie.
However, at the same time she’s probably dealing with some angry fans upset about the cast not returning to work already … and Twitter has never really even been that big of a destination for much of the show’s cast. Neither Jim Parsons nor Johnny Galecki have an account on the site, and Simon Helberg is not that active on there, either.
In the end, we just hope that things get resolved and the cast can get back to doing what they (and the fans) love. To us, this sort of thing matters way more than social media, which can often come and go.
Hopefully, we’ll have some more updates on this situation as the news comes out. For now, we just suggest heading over to this link to get some further updates on all we cover right now via our newsletter.

I am sure that there are angry fans. I wish the contracts would have been signed before Wednesday, so there was no work stoppage, but so be it. I think the contract dispute will be resolved soon, probably by next week, hopefully. The only problem would arise if the premiere didn’t happen on September 22. I think things will be fine and everyone will be financially satisfied soon. My recommendation is that if TBBT goes more than 10 seasons the licensing agreement and the 5 core cast members contracts by worked on together,if possible, so this doesn’t happen again.
