‘The Bridge’ season 2, episode 5 preview: Diane Kruger, cast in ‘Eyes of the Deep’

Tonight, “The Bridge” made what we feel were some of the most significant steps in the right direction that it has to date. You had multiple characters start to come together, and really allow us to get closer to learning answers about what is really going on here. As it turns out, we are dealing with a mess of a situation that does span both the United States and Mexico.

The next episode, entitled “Eyes of the Deep,” is going to continue everything that we have seen so far, but also raise it up get another notch as Eva starts to get more roped in to the story, and we once again have issues related to Marco’s past. Let’s just hope that these are different than the last time we saw such a thing.

We usually like to say in these preview articles what we want to see on the show the next week, but with this show, we’re really in a situation where we have little idea. It continues to surprise us with the direction of it, and this is one of those few times where the following phrase is merited: The writers continue to think of twists we don’t expect.
