‘Suits’ season 4, episode 7 review: ‘We’re Done’ anchored by Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle
Tonight on “Suits,” we had the moment that so many fans were expecting during the season … unfortunately, that didn’t make it any easier when that moment finally happened.
Mike and Rachel were done as a couple (hence the “We’re Done” title) about midway through the episode, and it came after a heartbreaking confession from him about how badly he cared about her, and how this love mattered so much, he didn’t care what job he had.
The phrase “We’re Done” was ironically used on more than one occasion in this episode, as Rachel also decided that she was terminating her business relationship with Logan just so that the two would never have to be near each other again. This came after Mike went over to his place, and the two promptly made a choice to beat the you-know-what out of each other.
Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle were brilliant throughout the majority of this episode, as you could feel the pain that the two parties went through. What was a nice surprise was finding out just how much the other characters were there from them. Even Harvey got involved, despite how much he hates this sort of thing.
It’s so interesting and ironic that it was Louis Litt of all people who ended up at least saving Mike’s job … at least professionally. Rather than seeing him get caught up in the same web of lies and deceit that he is now caught up in, he made sure that Mike went back to work at Pearson Specter … against Jessica’s wishes.
Our story ended tonight on a somber note, but maybe still a hopeful one. Mike left for a while, but he also made it clear that there could be a sliver of hope for himself and Rachel moving forward. As of right now, we’ll take that. Grade: A-.

Really disappointing episode. All the characters have just become exaggerated versions of themselves. The writers don’t know/or can’t even be bothered with managing interesting story arcs for more than one and a half episodes.
