‘Chicago PD’ season 2 spoilers: How will Lindsay try to help Nadia?

When “Chicago PD” picks up with the second season, the show is going to have all sorts of ground to cover, whether you are talking about relationships, life on the force, some new cases, and so much more.

For the time being, though, let’s cast the focus in particular on a pair of characters in Lindsay and Nadia, given that these two in particular are going to have quite a bit to do moving forward. We saw the latter enter rehab at the time that the first season ended, and speaking to TV Guide, executive producer Matt Olmstead claims that Lindsay is going to continue to help her when the story picks up again:

“This is Lindsay now trying to help her go straight — give her a job working in the squad answering phones and looking after her.”

Is there a problem in all of this? While we wouldn’t say for now that it is a substantial one, she is going to be a little too protective. Can you really be that surprised given that this is a police officer that we are talking about here? If nothing else, at least Nadia can feel like she has someone who really is looking out for her … even if it is a little bit extreme.

Lindsay is going to be very busy on the show moving forward; in addition to this, she’ll also be continuing her romance with Severide on “Chicago Fire.” Hopefully, this will be going for a while longer.
