‘Longmire’ season 3, episode 9 reaction: Adam Bartley on Ferg’s big move

Throughout most of the run of “Longmire,” Ferg is the forgotten man in the office. He’s a young deputy stuck doing most of the least-exciting jobs, while the majority of the people around him get an opportunity to go out and partake in some of the flashier activities.

So when he stands up to Walt, it is kind of a big deal … and this was one of the more paramount moments in Monday’s new episode. Want to hear more about it? Then let Adam Bartley share some thoughts on this scene! In the “Inside the Episode” clip posted on the A&E series’ Twitter account, you can see Bartley chat a little bit more about what it was like playing this moment, his character, and much more.

At this point, we do think that every moment on the show is building to something much greater, and we have the potential for something extremely epic now in the upcoming finale. This is when we could finally learn for one who killed Walt’s wife, and also whether or not Branch is finally stopped so that his reign of terror is over. There is certainly higher stakes here than we have ever seen on the show before, and with that comes a great deal of excitement. Will there be a big cliffhanger? Will any more important characters die after what happened to David Ridges? These are just some of the things that we find ourselves asking right now.

Keep looking out on CarterMatt all week, since we’re going to have more big news leading up to this episode.
