‘Royal Pains’ season 6, episode 9 preview: Are Jeremiah, Divya at odds?

“Royal Pains” is a show that really specializes for the most part on fun, but there is still some potentially serious drama that will be coming before season 6 comes to a close … even to the point where a friendship could be in trouble.

The title for next week’s installment is pretty funny in “Oh, M.G.,” since it feels almost like something that Hank would say and completely misunderstand. (Sometimes, we think the he is a senior citizen attitude-wise trapped in a younger person’s body?) As for the synopsis below, the part of it that is all about Jeremiah and Divya is what worries us the most:

“Hank a perfumer who fears his livelihood is in jeopardy when he starts losing his sense of smell. Evan and Ray hold a grand opening for their joint venture, HankLab, where HankMed treats a talented nail artist whose summer cold turns out to be something much more serious. Emma finds herself on the receiving end of Oz’s snark while Divya’s attempt to protect Jeremiah puts a strain on their relationship. Hank and Charlotte go to New York to take the first step toward finding a specialist to help with her condition.”

We feel like Viviana has put a “strain” (as Divya puts it) on the two parties, but the only way that they are going to get through this is talking things out. If Viviana is bad for Dr. Sacani in the end, you know that she will make it clear to him. Plus, we’re still rooting for he and Divya to get together in the end. It’s just nice to see the tables turned a little for a change.
