‘Ray Donovan’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Everything hits the fan

Didn’t you imagine that “Ray Donovan” was going to get pretty crazy from here on out? After tonight’s installment, it’s pretty far to guess that our title character is going to have to do a ton in order to make things normal in his life again.

Just in the thirty-second preview video below, we get what we’d like to think of as the full gamut of information. You’re going to see Ray commit some pretty violent acts, threaten others, and also get a little hot and heavy. He is a schemer, and therefore, you really cannot be too shocked by anything that this guy does to get the wrong people to stop breathing down his neck.

The only significant problem here for Ray is that things may be way beyond his control here in the end. There’s only going to bee so much that he can do to control his father, and he’s already roped into everything right now with Cochran and with the current going-ons in Boston. This is only the fourth episode of the season, but the situation is already such that it is starting to feel like the seventh or the eighth. The only thing that we can really hope for is that this momentum continues to build, and we are getting set for an epic season the rest of the way. So far, we do certainly enjoy this year more than the last. We understand these characters better, and we feel like the same can be said for everyone working on them behind the scenes.
