‘Masters of Sex’ season 2, episode 3 preview: Masters, Virginia play with names

Who knew that Dr. William Masters loved using a fake name so much? This is one of the easy reactions that we have to the latest clip below from Sunday night’s new episode of “Masters of Sex.”

The subject of this clip really just seems to be the game, and by that we mean the efforts by Dr. Masters and Virginia to keep their identities a secret while they continue to see each other at night. Basically, they are just continuing to try to find new and interesting ways to spice up their affair. Apparently, being down for role-playing is a part of that.

While everything for them may seem a little new and adventurous in this regard, the question has to be asked: What happens months from now, or years from now? How will Virginia take it when she really starts to digest the fact that her actions have damaged the lives of many? These are things that she will have to think about. There was already a little button about this at the end of this past episode with Vivian, who was visibly upset over the fact that she could have had Ethan, were it not for everything that happened between Virginia and him that started to turn him away from her.

The pivotal moment for season 2 of this show will come in the matter of a few weeks, when the two will jump forward in time, and we will see what life is like for them at that point.
