‘True Blood’ season 7, episode 6 video: Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer, more await fate

“True Blood” did more than just have a panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday; the cast and producers were also kind enough to introduce for the first time a clip of everything that will be coming up on the show.

One question that is clearly raised within this extended clip is something we’ve wondered since the H-Vamp story started to really pick up some steam: Is Eric Northman as a character doomed? Alexander Skarsgard’s vampire is slowly watching his condition worsen, and we also now know that Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) is suffering from it, as well. Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) does suggest that there is a cure out there for this somewhere, but we have a hard time thinking that she is suddenly going to be willing to give vampires a helping hand. Just remember here how passionate she has been in wanting to destroy them over the years.

Also, this promo does seem to set up a few separate romances as the story nears the end. For one, Arlene (Carrie Preston) is going to have a steamy romance for the first time in forever, just as Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill start to gravitate towards one another again. As for Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), let’s just say that his little bout of cheating on this past episode is going to lead to some serious consequences. This guy has gotten in trouble quite a lot over the years for thinking with his other head, and this may be one of the last opportunities that we have to see him punished for it. Granted, we are still pulling for him and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) to make it.
