‘The Amazing Race Canada 2’ episode 4 preview: Night games in Macau
There have not been a whole lot of international travel on “The Amazing Race Canada,” so there is therefore a part of us that is still trying to used to the concept of there being teams outside of their home country.
Tuesday’s episode is the second one for the series outside of Canada, and the show is going from Hong Kong over to Macau. The first thing that is noticeable about this leg is that it may be one of the first “night legs” that this version of the show has ever done, and we attribute that mostly to the fact that the nightlife scene in this region is so extreme, and there are so many fun challenges that can be done there. Teams will struggle with gambling, just as they may also struggle with exhaustion and some various forms of detours.
Now, what are we worried about when it comes to this leg? Mostly that night legs do sometimes feel a little short, since you really cannot do a whole lot outdoors since you can’t always see what you are doing. There is at least some excitement here in that Natalie & Meghan are coming in with a three-leg winning streak, there is still another Express Pass to be given out, and we are waiting still for the first non-elimination leg to happen. It feels like this is a good spot for it to be, mostly because of how different this leg is, and you want to keep as many of your teams around as long as possible. We don’t enjoy it when there are non-eliminations that happen later in the season, when there are only four or five teams remaining.
