ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Nathan Fillion on ‘mythology,’ Castle – Beckett wedding hopes
Nathan Fillion is a guy who rules Comic-Con, so with that in mind, you almost have to expect him to be there … even in the event that he is not even promoting a show.
With all of this being said, Fillion did have a reason to be there for the launch of a “Firefly” mobile game, and to also just be around some of his diehard supporters. He still did speak to TVLine a little bit about “Castle,” and for all of those wondering, he is just as interested now in Rick and Kate Beckett being married in the near future. His fear at this point is that there will come a time when the audience may start to grow frustrated over the vows not being stated just yet.
Nathan spent most of the interview, though being coy. While he was happy to see the show develop and explore some new mythology, he did not share many theories about what happened with Castle and the car during the season 6 finale. Also, he danced around the subject of how long he could see himself playing this character, other than reminding us that this is the longest that he has ever held a particular job, and almost every day he is setting a record for himself thanks to that.
There is also a vote of confidence in here for David Amann as the new showrunner, saying that he has been a part of many of his favorite episodes over the past few years he has been a part of the show.
