‘Arrow’ season 3 trailer: Oliver, Felicity, and Ray Palmer featured in Comic-Con video
It’s easy to love “Arrow,” and while production has not been going for that long now, the producers still managed to get together a small trailer of greatness to look forward to at San Diego Comic-Con Friday.
Let’s start with what has to be the top story at this very moment: What’s happening to Felicity? You see a shot of her with blood trickling down her face at one point, seemingly not too long after Oliver takes her on some sort of date. (We’re guessing this since it looks like the same outfit.) The fact that there is an Olicity date is still probably enough to really drive some of us ‘shippers up the wall, especially since he is starting to actually open up to her about a certain time in his life that he hasn’t really touched much on yet in Hong Kong.
There is some footage of Stephen Amell’s character in China in here, as well as some other craziness that spawns not long after that between him and Amanda Waller. Clearly, the two have quite the decorated history.
Also, you’ve got a pair of other extremely notable things to make note of in here, starting with a very angry Diggle. Why doesn’t Oliver want him in the field? We imagine that most of it has to do with him now being a father-to-be, and he doesn’t want it hanging over him that something could happen to him while out on a mission. The irony here is significant, given that Oliver’s own child should be a story threat at some point, as well.
As for the other notable thing, Ray Palmer! While the first look at Brandon Routh in here is brief, you do get a sense that he is a powerful guy who will make himself known this season.
