‘So You Think You Can Dance’ results: Marcquet Hill, Brooklyn Fullmer, and predictions
There have already been some pretty shocking results on “So You Think You Can Dance” this season, but we knew that sooner or later, we would get something that was a little more right down the middle when it comes to results. That happened Wednesday night with Marcquet Hill and Brooklyn Fullmer.
When it comes to story, it only seemed appropriate that these two leave the show together. They tried out together, have a long history, and they seemingly enjoyed their experience on the show. But going into the episode tonight, this was the elimination that many saw coming. Neither has received the strongest feedback from the judges, and neither have been altogether popular with America compared to some of the others.
With all of this being said, we’re never happy when anyone goes home at this point on the show. These are people who all have tried so hard to be there and succeed. Everyone has put a ton of time into a craft that traditionally does not produce millions upon millions of dollars, and rarely gets a ton of public recognition. This is not like “American Idol” where you get a few thousand people who audition every year just for the sake of being famous.
Next week, things are going to get way more unpredictable. For the first time this season, we will be seeing four dancers leave the competition rather than the traditional two. Blame Fox for that, since certainly Nigel Lythgoe doesn’t want to reduce the number of weeks of live shows. This means that it’s far more likely that a favorite will sink and be a shock vote. So vote, and vote often!
