‘Last Comic Standing’ rankings: Who is the funniest of them all?
With the lack of a new video preview to share for the upcoming “Last Comic Standing” episode airing on Thursday night, we figured it best to try to dive into something completely different. Namely, we’re ranking all of the remaining comics on who we really feel is the funniest one of all.
Granted, this ranking is not just built up of our own personal opinion; we’re also factoring in screen time, edit, and whether or not we’re seeing anything that could make the judges or the audience really want to see them be the champ in the end.
6. Karlous Miller – We have no clue what Karlous’ comedy really is at this point. He hasn’t always had the best edit, and despite only being in the middle of the pack for most of the challenges, he hasn’t been in a face-off to date.
5. Rocky LaPorte – Rocky is fairly similar to Karlous, with the only difference being that we understand his point of view better. He’s probably the people’s champ for all of the old-school comedy fans, but he’s certainly not anything close to modern.
4. Lachlan Patterson – He’s definitely a reverse from Rocky in that he’s modern, sharp, witty, and also extremely confident in a way that reminds us of Joel McHale. The only downside to Lachlan is that we’ve been hot-and-cold on him most of the season.
3. Nikki Carr – Nikki’s very funny. She also seems to be completely starstruck by ever single person that she meets. The biggest thing that we worry about when it comes to her and this show at the moment is whether or not she has enough variety in her material.
2. Joe Machi – Superbly funny in the last face-off against Monroe Martin, who we also really liked. We can see some not loving his delivery, but when he nails a joke like he did with the Founding Fathers last week, he’s close to unstoppable.
1. Rod Man – The reason that Rod Man has to be at the top (at least for now) is because everything the guy says is funny. He could announce to us that he is going to go balance his budget and we’d laugh. He’s got the demeanor, the attitude, and above all the stories and the jokes to be a winner of this show. Plus, we’d watch a Rod Man sitcom in a second.

Rod Man, really? We have to agree to disagree, big time. The man barely speaks English. Nikki Carr is blossoming–she’s a star. And Joe Machi… cracks me up.
