‘Covert Affairs’ season 5, episode 6 review: Annie, Auggie, and ‘Embassy Row’
Are some of your favorite episodes of “Covert Affairs” the ones that feature Annie going undercover? Then odds are, you are probably going to enjoy the next installment entitled “Embassy Row.” You’re going to get a chance to see some dangerous times within Paris, as things within a certain Russian Embassy get a little bit crazy. Annie Walker is certainly used to difficult situations at this point, but eventually you’d think that something would be too difficult for her even to get out of. Hopefully, that’s not this time.
While Annie is going through her latest mission, this episode also promises to show you some interesting stories for Auggie, Joan, and the rest of the cast. Want to find out a few more details right now? Then check out the official synopsis below:
“While on an undercover mission, Annie must keep her guard up after she accepts an invitation to the Russian Embassy in Paris. Auggie attempts to juggle more than one relationship, while Joan unravels the details of Arthur’s most recent business trip.”
In the end, we hope that the show does a great job of just establishing the action and tension that’s been there most of the season. It has been a little chaotic in between Eyal’s return and McQuaid, things have been all over the place. There are still many episodes coming up this summer, so we have a chance to see even more insanity moving forward. (Remember, there’ll also be a second half of this season in the near future.)
