‘Ray Donovan’ season 2, episode 3 preview: Ray lends his daughter a hand

With “Ray Donovan” getting further and further into its second season, some of the story threads are going to start to unravel. Mickey’s past will continue to haunt everyone, and to make matters worse, he will still be making questionable decisions. If he gets a little too far away from the radius on his ankle bracelet, he is going to be shipped right off to prison.

For Ray next week, one of his biggest missions is actually going to come straight from his home. You see, his daughter Bridget wants to get into a specific school, and of course he wants to do almost anything in order to make that happen. By “anything,” we of course mean that he will do way more than almost any other normal parent would. Expect some more antics for Ray, and a story that may feel at least somewhat procedural.

We’ll go ahead and share the full synopsis for this upcoming episode below, even if it hardly the most revealing in the world:

Ray and Abby face a big hurdle when they try to get Bridget into her dream school.”

What we remain excited about here is that there is an effort being made here to keep the show at least somewhat at its roots, and that is Ray doing things to help extremely spoiled and terrible people. It’s not often that we want to see a show be more procedural, but this is something that we get from this series most of the time.

In the end, we’ll just see what happens from here.

What do you want to see take place on next week’s “Ray Donovan,” and do you think that Ray’s quest to help Bridget will turn into a success? Share below.
