‘Finding Carter’ episode 4 preview: Where the journey goes next
As of right now, we would classify MTV’s “Finding Carter” as one of the shows on the air that intrigues us the most. It’s trying to do something different than most anything else on TV, and we respect that … especially for a network that is known for airing people being drunk. Just the idea is chilling in itself: Finding out that the entire life that you have is a result of something terrible, and you never knew until now. It’s like “The Truman Show,” but only so much worse and not so postmodern.
The show is already a few episodes in, and Carter is still trying to figure out what she is going to do, and how she will retake whatever she considers to be her life now. Unfortunately, one of the biggest hurdles in her way is trust. It’s obviously broken already, and she still has to figure out more than ever before who to rely on.
Tuesday night’s new episode carries with it the title of “Now You See Me” (does that mean a “now you don’t” is coming?), and you can just take a look below at the synopsis to get a better idea of specifically what you can expect to see:
“Carter deals with a betrayal from Bird; Max decides to leave; Lori returns with a plan.”
The actions that unfold throughout this episode, like any other, will carry over for some time … and Carter learns that one of them (getting a disguise) is not as effective as she thought in the video sneak peek below.
