‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 2, ‘New Girl’ season 4, ‘The Mindy Project’ season 4 cast photos are here!

A trio of Fox comedies have unveiled their new promotional photos now at TCA, and we’re going to present them for you in a little bit of a different pattern than usual. We’re throwing all three of them into this article, and we’ll also rank them in order of which actually do the best job of selling their respective products.

These comedies are all going to be a part of the schedule this fall, with the only real major twist being that for some reason, Fox decided to put “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” on Sunday nights surrounded by most of their animated series.

3. “New Girl” – Seriously, we have no clue what Fox was thinking with this one. It doesn’t look even remotely cool, and instead seems to be settling in more on “exceptionally awkward.” The car isn’t even a big part of the show, and at least two or three actors in here feel obviously photoshopped into. For a show that is so funny, you’d think that there would be more effort put into this.

2. “The Mindy Project” – This is actually a pretty beautiful photo for the show. Mindy Kaling and the cast look relaxed, and it works well with the romantic vibe that the show has going for it. If there is one issue, it may be that you have a hard time telling that this is actually a comedy until you focus in not on the outfits, but the fact that they seem to be acting like ruffians out on the street with booze.

1. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” – This is just everything you’d want it to be. It’s a reminder that these folks are cops, and that they are mostly terrible at their jobs. Gina holding up a cell phone is hysterical, and even though most of these were clearly stuck together with a computer, their stances work so perfectly with their personalities that we really don’t care.
