‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Teresa and Joe Giudice’s emotional dialogue

There are probably going to be at least a few occasions on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” where you get a little emotional … especially when you look at the legal woes of Joe and Teresa Giudice.

We’re not going to sit here and debate whether or not we feel sorry for them, mostly because it’s fairly difficult to know every finer detail of the case. They’ve obviously made many mistakes to get themselves in the position that they are, and the only way to turn things around is if they end up learning from them. We see this sneak peek below as a moment of connecting between a husband and wife, but eventually this does also need to turn into a proactive movement by these two in order to ensure that they are never in this position again. Otherwise, these issues could continue to pop up and haunt them.

This scene is one of the few times that we’ve legitimately felt that a housewife is actually not enjoying the media scrutiny surrounding them. This is all negative, and not in a silly way like throwing a drink or flipping a table. This is different than Melissa Gorga creating a song about being “on display” before she was even really that famous.

We’re going to continue to follow along this case every step of the way, especially since we have a feeling that there are going to be some big milestones in the present day very soon. We’re about to find out the sentencing for these two, and what implications this could ultimately have on the series.
