ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: The second mission for Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic
Given the quotes that the premiere of “Castle” is going to be a “two-parter,” you would have to figure that the second part is therefore more important than the first. This would be the episode that would establish equilibrium to the series again, and get it back on the same path that the show traditionally is on with the characters working in the precinct. Let’s be real: This show seven years in is not going to transform into “True Detective,” where the entire mission is concentrated on a singular case.
According to TVLine, the second episode of the season will be written by show creator Andrew W. Marlowe, so you have to think of that as a sign it’s going to be pretty darn important. Also, the case will revolve around a toy mogul. (Wait, so how does this tie into the episode being a two-parter? The magazine suggests that there is a sort of twist here that is yet to be explained.)
Just in case all of this stuff with Castle’s kidnapping and Beckett’s rescue mission feels like it is a little intense, showrunner David Amann also tells TVLine that moving forward there is “a really fun episode that deals with what seems to be an invisible killer — and the characters take a lot of pleasure in that.” This is the “Castle” we know and love! We can’t wait for the conspiracy theories and Nathan Fillion silliness already; we live for it when it comes to this show.
The premiere episode will air on Monday, September 29, and if there is one little nugget of joy to take from the late start, it is that this means you’ll be getting more good stuff from the show without repeats later.

Eyebrows raised questionably at Valerie’s response. This is a cute show with bits of flirtation/romance and insertions of light humor built around NYPD case investigations, and that Precinct’s character Detective Kate Beckett’s 13-year search for her own mother’s murderer. Andrew W. Marlowe is the creator behind this TV series “Castle,” which has been picked up each season for the past several years, and is again renewed for this year. According to this piece, the show’s creator is writing the 2nd episode of the upcoming two-part 2014 season “Castle” Premier. This merely suggests the possibility for another good season, citing that the person who is originally responsible for creating “Castle” in the first place, is once again actively involved in the future direction of his thus far successfully-running creation.
