‘True Blood’ season 7: Kristin Bauer van Straten on Alexander Skarsgard,
For all “True Blood” fans who were away from the computer this weekend, you may have missed an opportunity to ask Kristin Bauer van Straten a question during what was a pretty lively AMA on Reddit. She answered a ton of questions about the show, her future, and a project that she is working on, a documentary all about the plight to save the elephant and the rhinoceros.
We would say to head over to the link here in the event that you want to see all of her answers, but as we’ve done with some other Reddit – highlight articles in the past, we’ve pulled what we feel to be some of the best responses.
- On working with Alexander Skarsgard – “We work such long hours during the week that on the weekend, we want to see our other friends. But we’re together 40-60 hours a week. But if we are on hiatus, we do keep in touch. I always want to see Alex. Right now he’s in London for 6 months, and I won’t get to see him until he’s back.”
- On the ending for Pam – “You know, what you as viewers are about to see, I felt was perfect. Perfect for an actress to play, and to experience. And what I imagined as the last season for Pam was not as creative or multidimensional as what the writers came up with.”
- On what she kept from the set – “My fangs! I hope I never wear them in public. I just wanted to have them. They are custom made, they won’t fit anybody else.”
- On who else from the show she would want to be – “I’d love to know what it’s like being Ryan Kwanten playing Jason Stackhouse for a day. I think he’s just a comic genius. And is absolutely nothing like his character.”
All in all, this was a pretty lively and fun session! Hopefully, we will have an opportunity to enjoy a few more of these from Kristin down the road when her documentary is closer to release.
